Microsoft has embarked on the creative journey to completely reinvent the Fluent illustrations to an updated, cohesive, and beautiful 3D design system. I was thrilled to be given the unique opportunity to work alongside some of Microsoft’s most talented designers and recreate the new existing assets in what can be described as a 2.5D version. The purpose of recreating these illustrations into a fully vectorized format is to keep the integrity of the 3D design system when rasterization is not a format option.
